6          POLICE REPORT
 
            To receive a report from PC Darren Reed.
 
7          MONKTON PRIMARY SCHOOL
 
            It has been brought to the Council’s attention that 7 children in the village will not get a place at
Monkton Primary School at the start of the school year in September. A concerned parent, Mrs Mairs, has asked if she may address the Council on this matter.
 
8          COUNTY COUNCILLOR AND DISTRICT COUNCILLOR’S REPORT
           
            To receive reports as appropriate from Mr C Hibberd (KCC) and District Councillor Grove.          
 
9          COMMUNITY GRANTS
 
            The Clerk will report on the Community Grant Application for 2009/10.      
 
10        MONKTON RECREATION GROUND RENT ISSUE WITH TDC
 
To decide whether the Council need to act upon the following: Mark Seed from TDC has informed the Council that Natalie Beldin, a TDC Estate Surveyor, is including the rent issue in a general report about rents chargeable for this type of property which is intended to go to Cabinet. TDC financial rules state land officers cannot merely waive rents due from land, but a formal cabinet decision is required.
