6          MONKTON RECREATION GROUND
 
(i) To consider the future of the Recreation Ground and to have regard to the views that resident’s may have on this matter.
 
(ii) The Members should decide whether to pay rent for Monkton Recreation Ground.  An invoice for the period between 01.07.10- 30.09.10 for £375.00 has been received.   TDC has confirmed the withdrawal of any rent concession on the Grounds.
 
(iii) Members should note the current status of the play equipment as it is in need of work. 
 
7          WARD COUNCILLOR FOR THE VILLAGES AND DISTRICT COUNCILLOR’S REPORT
           
            To receive reports as appropriate from Mr M Roberts and Mr Grove.          
   
8          MONKTON NATURE RESERVE
 
            MNR has previously approached the Council regarding a possible contact with the Lord Lieutenant          of Kent, Allan Willet. Allan Willet’s family had a major role in the village over hundreds of years and it is understood Allan Willet’s company makes donations for various organisations. Apparently      Council agreed to back MNR with a bid. The Members should decide whether the Grants       Officer, Ros Facey, could contact the Council to see how an appeal could be taken forward.
