Notice is hereby given that there will be a meeting of Monkton Parish Council to be held at
Monkton Village Hall on Monday 18th March 2013 starting at 6.30 pm to transact the following business:

It is proposed that under Section 100(A)(4) of the Local Government Act 1972, the public be excluded from the meeting for the following item of business Agenda Items 86/12-13 (d) & 87/12-13 on the grounds that it involves the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraphs 4 & 9 of Part 1 Schedule 12A of the Act.

  a) To note Planning Applications. (Appendix B)
  b) To note the appeal decision of 198 Monkton St

  c) To discuss the use of quadbikes on Mr Lings property – breach of planning permission

 

81/12-13 HIGHWAYS
  To receive any appropriate updates including issues such as fly-tipping from the Highways    Representative.

  a) To note the planned resurfacing works to Seamark Close and ensure the works are completed to a   satisfactory standard.  Letter to be sent to TDC regarding the poor quality of work to the surface of   Monkton Street.

82/12-13 MAINTENANCE OF WAR MEMORIAL
  To receive an update regarding the maintenance of the memorial by the village volunteers and    possibly TDC.

  a)  To receive an update regarding the Children’s Play Area and introduction of monthly ROSPA    inspection form.
  
  b)  To discuss FIT application and update on the current position of purchasing the Recreation    Ground.

  c) To receive updates regarding  the maintenance of the Recreation Ground:
   i ) grass mowing contract – item 79/12-13
   ii) cleared area behind pavilion – repair of fencing
   iii) update on Kevin Knights voluntary work maintaining the memorial trees and surrounding    area
  
  d)  To further discuss the progress of installing CCTV and update regarding grant applications **
